iTech AXXIS Digital Label System at LABELEXPO AMERICAS New iTech AXXIS^SR Digital Label System will be previewed along with the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System {August 31, 2010} Derry, NH (USA) At booth 6115 during Labelexpo Americas, September 14-16, Allen Datagraph Systems Inc. (ADSI) will showcase the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System and offer a new technology demonstration of the iTech AXXIS^SR Digital Label System for proofing labels in any shape on-demand.
Many small-to-medium-sized companies have the need for high quality labels. However the cost associated with purchasing small quantities of high quality labels is one of the biggest issues these companies have to resolve while still offering products that are appealing to the consumer at the point of sale. Until the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System, they had only a few options, explains Mark Vanover, VP Sales and Marketing at ADSI. They were required to purchase labels in large quantities creating inventory that may never be used, or they paid a high premium for short-run labels both options decreasing their profitability. Their last option was to use inferior pre-cut label solutions. Based on feedback from our customers, the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System represents a paradigm-shift in label manufacturing by offering a complete table-top label production system printing high quality labels at an astonishingly low cost per label to produce.
The iTech AXXIS Digital Label System, engineered and assembled in the U.S., is comprised of both the iTech AXXIS Digital Label Printer, a high-resolution roll-fed CMYK print engine featuring variable-droplet technology. Printing on a variety of pressure sensitive substrates (BOPP, polyester, papers) in widths from 4 inches to 8.5 inches with an outside roll diameter up to 11 inches, the system images ‘consumer quality labels’ at up to four feet per minute. The ability to print variable data is an option. The iTech AXXIS Digital Label Finisher is the key component to finishing on-demand labels of any shape. The finisher laminates, integrates die-less die cutting (any vector shape designed in Adobe Illustrator), strips, slits and rewinds to finished rolls of labels.
The complete iTech AXXIS Digital Label System is small enough to fit on a table-top, yet engineered to handle high-productivity throughput. No other label system can offer the features of the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System for anything close to the low cost of acquisition, continues Vanover. We’ve turned the industry’s assumptions of label production on its head by bringing affordable digital label manufacturing within reach of everyone. We believe the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System enables every converter to never have to walk away from their customers’ short-run label production needs again. Labelexpo will also be the first public new technology demonstration of the iTech AXXIS^SR Digital Label System in the world. Both the iTech AXXIS^SR Digital Label System and the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System will be in booth 6115 during Labelexpo. Visitors can also see the iTech AXXIS Digital Label System a few weeks later in Chicago during Graph Expo, October 3-6, in booth 4836.
